Bat and bird rescue

Over the years  i have had the experience of raising rescue birds due to them falling out of the nest, getting abandoned by the parent or whatever else the reason may be.

However, this summer, a bat was injured from a cat. i was able to take said bat home in a box, give it water, and food via a syrnge. After a couples of days of this, i decided it would be best to take it to the Ogden Wildlife Rehab center.

They were able to provide it with a home with other bats at the center, nurse it back to health and then release it a week later. I am very grateful for the help of the rehab center for providing these services. The sad part, Utah government doesnt give money to the wild life rehab programs, its all donations from people like you and me. We are one of the ONLY states that does NOT invest in wild life rehab, but yet we will invest in silly programs or other things that dont really matter

we have also rescued Australian Diamond Doves. He was found in the snow during the night by someone. Looks like the original owner didnt want him so they threw him out.. in the cold.. or he could have escaped, im hoping he escaped..
